Renata. Yeah, let me go over this one. Let me tell you what we do for our employees during vacations. We have partnerships with playgrounds that offer activities for their children so our employees can work with their mind free of worries of what their kids are doing at home during vacation. We also have some programs with our employees in mind because we are a company that cares for our employees. We are always thinking of ways to assist in their professional development and growth within the company.
Thales. Wait, can I interrupt you Renata? You are actually a perfect example because I remember just a year or so ago, you were pregnant so you can share the experience, it did not affect you, and you are now back at work. I’m sure CajuBrasil accommodated you.
Renata. I mean, yes. Well, our owners are really inspiring and always thinking ahead. So this kind of situation is not a problem at all, mainly because we are mostly made up of women. So every once in a while we have one of the girls pregnant. And yes, as you mentioned, I was pregnant. We had Covid 19 and I worked from home even though it wasn’t the point but I’m sure it was easy to work and deal with the situation. I had a really calm and easy pregnancy but even so, we have colleagues that sometimes have complications but it is still not a problem at all. And after I had the child, it was really easy to come back to work, to reestablish my position here at work. Vinicius and the team were always in contact with me.
Thales. And the thing is, and I want to add, to share with everybody, Renata as you can probably tell, loves her job.
Renata. I do.
Thales. Which shows you what type of culture and company. Because most mothers wouldn’t be worried about calling up their colleagues, “Vinicius what’s going on?” You know, wow!
Renata. Oh yeah, I’m really pleased to work here. I’ve been working for CajuBrasil for 12 years now and we have more girls here, like myself, that are long term employees of the company. That’s another sign. We really believe in the family and the purpose and everything. And just as an addition to answer your question, we also have left overs for the fabrics after the cut out process. And once a week, we donate to an association that makes handmade carpets and they come and they pick up those leftover fabrics to reuse them.
Thales. Wow, I didn’t know that. Could you at some point in the future share their work with us?
Renata. Sure, yes yes.
